White Angolans or Angolans of European descent are "Angolan people whose ancestry lies within the continent of "Europe, most significantly "Portugal. It also includes a population of "White Brazilians with European Ancestry; including are "Eastern Europeans, including Russians and Poles, who settled Angola when the country was a "communist republic. For a long time a significant community of "Afrikaners lived in southern Angola, but most left in and after 1975.

Currently, Whites are a minority ethnic group in Angola, accounting for 1% of the country's population.[1] The White population usually speaks "Portuguese.[2][3][4]
