Wind turbines in Idaho

Electricity generated by wind power accounted for over 15% of Idaho's in-state generated electricity in 2016.[1] Wind power in Idaho has the potential to provide all of the electricity used in the U.S. state of "Idaho.["citation needed]

Idaho could potentially install 18,000 MW of wind power, capable of generating 52,000 million kWh/year according to a study by the "National Renewable Energy Laboratory.[3] Idaho used 23,063 million kWh in 2016[4]
